June 19, 2007 Board Meeting Agenda Item #27 Title APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH HUMANE SOCIETY OF SARASOTA, INC., "ANIMAL CARE TRAINING PROGRAM" Description This agreement will allow for non-paid career technical work experience for students 18 years and older, emotional handicapped and/or educable mentally handicapped, including Option I, Option II and Standard Diplomas in 10th, 11th, and/or 12th grade students from Booker High School, Riverview High School, Sarasota High School and Oak Park School, to learn the day to day operation of running a business at the Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc., within the "Animal Care Training Program". Recommendation That the School Board approve the agreement between the Vocational Instructional Program and the Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc., "Animal Care Training Program", as presented.
